Privacy notice.
What PPT Group (Pty) Ltd collects on this site and through its contact channels, why, where it is kept, and what you can ask of us. Written for the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Draft of 28 October 2026, for review.
Who is responsible
PPT Group (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party. Questions, requests and complaints go to admin@pptgroup.co.za, marked for the attention of the Information Officer.
What we collect, and why
The enquiry form. Your name, company, email address, what you need and the message you write. We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to run the engagement. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box, and our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you sent us.
WhatsApp, phone and email. If you contact us on one of these, we keep the conversation and the number or address you used, for the same purposes.
This website itself. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, time) for security, for a short period.
Where it is kept, and who processes it
Enquiries and conversations are kept in our own customer system and our email, both hosted on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. WhatsApp messages pass through Twilio and Meta, who provide the WhatsApp Business service. These providers process the information on our instructions and under their own security commitments. Some of this processing happens outside South Africa, in Microsoft regions in the United Kingdom and the European Union, under agreements that give at least the protection POPIA requires.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not lead to work is deleted twenty-four months after our last exchange. Records of an engagement are kept for as long as the contract and the law require, then deleted.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw a consent you gave, or object to a use you do not agree with. Email the address above; we answer within a month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to the customer system and the mailboxes is limited to the directors and staff who need it, with multi-factor sign-in. If a breach ever affects your information we will tell you and the Regulator as POPIA requires.
Changes
We will change this notice when what we do changes, and date each version here. This is the first version.
